Brief description
I was called to service an electric stove with a malfunctioning burner. Upon inspection, I found that one of the coil elements was no longer heating up properly. Using my multimeter, I tested the burner and determined the issue was a broken circuit resulting in insufficient power to the coil. To fix the problem, I first disconnected the power supply for safety. I then removed the faulty coil element and replaced it with a new one. After reconnecting the wiring, I restored power to the stove and tested the burner. It now heated evenly and normally. The repair was quick and simple – the new coil element was all that was needed to get the burner working again.
