I was called to service an electric stove with problems in the touch control panel. Upon inspection, I found that the touch sensors were not responding properly, making it difficult to operate the stove. Using my multimeter and an understanding of appliance circuits, I diagnosed the issue as a faulty touch control board that operates the sensors. The new board had repaired the touch sensitivity problems. The sensors were now responding accurately to allow full control of the stove again. The customer was relieved to have the convenient touch panel working properly thanks to the control board replacement.
